About Carolina, and Colombini Bakery

Ciao! I’m Carolina, the dough-dusting baker and owner of Colombini Bakery.
“Colombini” means little doves in Italian, and I love the idea that every loaf can deliver a little peace, love, and carb-powered harmony.

I grew up in Italy where the daily schedule goes something like:
1: Think about food.
2: Eat food.
3: Repeat.

Fresh, warm bread was always the headliner of every meal.
When I moved out of italy 13 years ago, I realized the “just-baked, still-singing” kind of bread was nearly impossible to find. So I rolled up my sleeves, grabbed some flour, and started experimenting.

Spoiler: my first loaves were bricks. Edible? Questionable. Fun? Absolutely.

But I kept at it—classes, late-night dough sessions, endless taste tests (someone had to do it!). Somewhere between sticky counters and flour clouds, I found my groove. Friends and family wouldn’t stop asking for more, so I ditched my PR and events job and made bread my full-time gig. Best career plot twist ever.

Today my bakes are a passport of flavors: Italian flour, French & Irish butter, California milk, a sprinkle of English salt. Think of it as a world tour—no luggage fees required.

So grab a loaf, break bread with your favorite people, and let’s make some delicious memories together.

Warning: may cause spontaneous happy dancing and butter addiction.
